Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Screenshots to Calendar ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Service Description

The App extracts calendar event details from images using artificial intelligence. Extraction accuracy is not guaranteed. You are responsible for reviewing extracted data before saving.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes
Not submit images containing illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content you do not have rights to process
Secure your own API keys if you configure them
Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or interfere with the App

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content are owned by Blocksize One UG (haftungsbeschränkt). Event data you extract belongs to you.

Payments

In-app purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms. All purchases are final. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy.

Subscriptions

The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions for unlimited event extractions.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

Previously purchased credits remain valid and will be used as a fallback if your subscription expires. Unused credits do not expire.

iCloud Sync

Cross-device credit synchronization requires being signed into iCloud on your device.

We use an anonymous identifier derived from your iCloud account to sync credits
We are not responsible for credit discrepancies if you use different iCloud accounts on different devices
If you sign out of iCloud, your credits will not be accessible until you sign back in with the same account

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE EXTRACTION ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. AI-GENERATED CONTENT MAY CONTAIN ERRORS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLOCKSIZE ONE UG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blocksize One UG (haftungsbeschränkt) from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Fair Use Policy

The App is designed for personal calendar event extraction. You agree to use the App as intended and in a reasonable manner. Prohibited uses include:

Submitting images or text that are not related to calendar event extraction
Automated, scripted, or bulk submissions
Deliberately submitting content designed to exhaust processing resources
Using the service for purposes other than extracting calendar events

We reserve the right to monitor usage patterns and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without prior notice or refund.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nuremberg, Germany.

Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
